Mummy Rules was set up by a Devon mum with an aim to share honest and helpful posts about pregnancy, parenthood and the change in lifestyle that accompanies it. Knowledge is power…and a sense of humour is essential!
Last year our editor Tilly, found herself heavily pregnant and restless, with a sudden urge to write about her rollercoaster ride into motherhood and to confront her pre-natal nerves before she gave birth to her second child. Surprisingly, she found that as she wrote, she saw the funny side to those moments of fear, exhaustion and bewilderment. As did our friends, who reacted with laughter and sympathy: coming forward with their own stories from the hilarious to the heartbreaking. So Mummy Rules found it’s feet and has now become a blogzine for all you wonderful mummies, daddies and wannabe parents to enjoy.
Mummy Rules has been featured in The Huffington Post, BabyCentre, on the front pages of Selfish Mother and Mumsnet and in the BritMums Newbie Round-Up. Tilly is currently working on the book that has been brewing in her imagination since the blog was born.
